In an attempt to boost profitability, and drive future performance, retailer Target is testing out a rewards program for its credit cards in San Antonio, Texas and Kansas City, Missouri. Target customers were eligible to get 3 to 5% off their purchases directly through the cash register, instead of getting a 10% off coupon redeemed later. The response has been encouraging, according to Target.

Currently, Target delinquent Seawright for November was 9.39%, which equals $750 million in payments that are over 30 days past due. Target wrote over $97 million in bad credit loans in November alone.
